Hi guys.
This hasnt been working for a while.
Attempted changing the fuse, no joy, does anyone know where the connections from the back go to so I can get the old circuit tester out.
Thanks |

Do any other electrical accessories not work?
Does the light on the switch go when you switch it on?
Do you measure any voltage at the terminals which attach to the rear windscreen?
Are the terminals attached to the glass properly?
Is it possible that every single track on the glass is broken? |

This is common problem on the 33. I think it's cus the rear window heater takes lots of ampres and the wiring isn't up to it!
Mine has never worked since I've had the car. And the place where the fuse goes for it has melted all the plastic ! DOH!

Hi,
Mine has two lines not working - I found the point of discontinuity and thanks to a pal from college I borrowed a special conductive liguid which promises to restore the line.
I have not repaired it yet and as soon as I have it done I 'll come back with details.

If it's a series two check the junction under the dash near the driver's door. I take it you've checked the hatch wires. I've got all five of my car's rear window heaters working now. I disconnect the two connectors on the boot and place a wire with a bulb in the middle between them so when it lights up you know you're on the road to success. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar.
