Its because alfa have used them on their racing cars for decades, so the sportier models get the four leaf clover.

The four leaf clover has always been a symbol of good luck. Because it's rare. The workshop cleaner had painted the Alfa racecar before their vicoty and wished it luck. Alfa won.
