Hi ,does anybody know if the alfa 145 1.7 gearbox will fit a 33 once the gear selector rod and speedo hub are changed over ? as they look nearly identicle. cheers Lee |

Yes they will, I ran a 145 box in my sprint for a while. No speedo and I made up a new linkage to suit, shift was worse than standard, so not an ideal solution. But had I bothered to refine the system it might have been alright.
I was going to try using a cable setup, but things happend and plans changed. _________________ Shift for Brains |

Difficult to say, it's a race prepared car so the noise levels while driving with a helmet on are fairly high.
I don't remember seeing any knock mark on the underside or box when I took it out. Although I do have a differnet top engine mount, which may leave the engine and box hanging a I little lower than standard. _________________ Shift for Brains |
