Having successfully got my Series 1 back on the road with a new MOT and 6 months tax, my thoughts are now turning to its ongoing restoration.
At the moment, I have a black tailgate and will be fitting red front doors on what is a green car. This is the only 33 I have seen in this colour and assume it was a factory original colour. It is what I would describe as a lime / leaf green colour. Does anyone know its AR name or colour code or indeed whether green was a factory colour back in 1983?

Hi Chris, not sure about the colour, but the code should be on a badge under the bonnet.

I think its called verde aqua but in the brochure its called messina vnmt
i would take a piece to your local paint mixes so they can match it
