I need to remove the warning switches from the dash, fog lamps etc, as some are in the wrong places, and some need the lamps replacing.
I got the fronts off ok to replace the lamps, but I cant see how to remove the whole switch, how do they come out.
Earlier series 3 car with the square switches (same as series 2 and 75).
Usually go for the heavy handed approach, but want to do it properly
Thanks lee _________________ `97 155 2.0 16v sport

I think you might wanna take the whole surround thingy out of the dashboard like this:
It's not easy because you can't get at the clips to fold them down to allow the surround to slide out. I think the wiring loom plugs go directly onto the back of the switches, and I can't remember if removing a switch by itself would result in the plug disconnecting or whether it passes through the switch surround and comes out with the switch. _________________ "Now, all that is left to do ... is wait that something else brokens, to fix up again!" |

Thanks for the reply, and the picture too, nice one that does help, although as you say might be tricky, will gie it a look at the weekend.
Thanks again _________________ `97 155 2.0 16v sport
