Hi,
My '93 16v seems to have an odd assortment of side window glasses.
In the 8 years prior to my ownership it may have lost a window to some scumbag knicking the stereo, but i've been in all the doors for waxoyling/regulator/ speakers etc etc over the years, and have never found any glass beads which you normally would.
Could it be just typical alfa, using what they have to hand?  Anyone else???
NSF & NSR = SeKurit Saint Gobain with AR logo and matching numbers
NSR 1/4 =PPG with AR logo
OSF =Sicursiv with AR logo
OSR =PPG with AR logo
OSR 1/4 = PPG with AR logo

I know it's a bit Kittens (hey hey i'd typed a-n-a-l), but i just want some reassurance that might be how it left the factory. Go on, go and have a look at your P4 windows 
When i'm grovelling about sometime soon (hopefully) changing the gearbox, the windows will be the last thing i care about.
Did you sell the gtv in the end?
How wobbly is your wobbly house? House renovation is my other hobby

LIke 6 feet higher at one end than the other!?!?!?
I have more serious things to worry about than the windows!
I have a few people coming to look at the GTV over the weekend... still want it?

Hi,
Glass all around my 33 has AR /sekurit logo except the rear left door at the 1/4 glass which has PPG logo...
Come on guys ... italians were fitting whatever part they had on their parts bin.

Is that how come my quarter light windows are a different colour? When fine misty rain falls on the car it makes the bronze tint and green tint glass look very different, and gives the car a stained glass mosaic look.

On my Alfa (93' 1.5IE) 6 out of 8 windows are by SEKURIT and the rear windscreen and the front left passenger window by SEKURSIV (if a spelt it right)
The good news is that all the windows have a light green tint and all look the same.

Can't say I've ever noticed this on my car... probably due to the lack of sun!

I think there were 2 types of glass, one gold/bronze and the other green. All mine are green and I think all have the Alfa logo on them, I will check for you. I even have an original screen, although the laminate is going opaque. Does anyone know the tinting amount of said glass?

mine are all the "SeKurit Saint Gobain with AR logo and matching numbers dot 37 m50 as2, e2 43r, 000588" bar 1. Do you want the number of the odd one and the rear and front?

No, it's ok thanks Al. I'm now sleeping at night again knowing that others have odd glass too!
Recently changed the nsf door and it came with glass with the same numbers etc as the one it replaces-hooray!
Just started gentle work on dropping the engine and gearbox for gbox swap, so glass is not so much on my mind at the mo'

I'll have to rectify my odd glass now!! damn you 
Does anyone know of the window tinting amount on the green windows. When tinting windows you are not allowed above 75%, i would like to fit mirror/silver tint all round on mine but need to know the values to see if it will be legal.
