|
|
I´m going to convert a 1.7 16V engine to carbs.
I know that some guys "join" the throttle bodys from the 16V to the 8V and solve the problem that way, But I´m not interested in doing that my self.
Were can I buy the inlet manifolds to this coversion?
Does any one has a pair of these to sell?
Thanks

Someone in Norway was selling them a year or two ago. Use the search facility on this site as I think it was discussed on here. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Thanks to "Rich B", I contacted the guy on last 29 of Jan.
We exchanged few mails and he first told me that he was not interested in selling only the manifolds. After that I told him I would probably buy the manifolds and carbs pack. He replied telling me the price of the parts and shipping to Portugal. Today I mailed him asking his account number so I could send him the money next week and got the reply to guve him a month because he would prefer to sell all pack with the engine to the UK.
That was not what he told me earlier...
So I´m no longer interested in doing business with him.
Thanks all.

I am surprised that patrick hasn't said anyhting, his brother has a 16v sud that is being converted to carbs, with the inlet manifolds you need. _________________ x2 33 16v

I bought mine off ebay last year.
Check for "motorman253", he is the seller and may be able to make them to order. Be warned that they may need some minor modifications. |
