Always had an issue balancing one of the barrels with a higher vacuum. Air bypass screws always seem to be very unstable.
Now after removing the heads to replace tappets I see the small pin holes that connect to the oil vapor rebreather circuit. New to me.
Little brass threads that sit under the butterfly in the manifold and can affect idling if not clear.
They had substantial amounts of oil crud. This could have been affecting the vacuums of each barrel quite easily if one was blocked. _________________ S2 33 1988 1.7 QV
