|
|
Hello Guys,
I bought a Sprint green cloverleaf build in 1985 with mechanical speedometer. Now I saw that there´s an engine with gearbox from a 33 is mounted.
So my question: Is it possible to change the speedodrive from electronical to mechanical or otherwise, is it possible to swap the mechanical speedometer into a electronical w/o much modifications of the Sprints instrument panel.
Sorry for my bad english, but I´m from germany.
Kind regards
Walter |

Dont really know that well the differences. But i think that you have to change the gearbox, to make the mechanical speedometer work.
Later Sprints, had the engine/gearbox/front brakes from the 33, so they have already the electronic speedometer. If you can, try to find one of this speedometers. _________________ All'interno della mia macchina, vi sedete, tenete sopra e CHIUDETE IN SU... |

Not true, Paulo...
Later Sprints still came with mechanical speedo...
It is possible to change some parts inside the gearbox to adapt it to the machanical speedo.
I just dont know if it is possible to do it with the gearbox in the car, but I think so... |
