I rode in the rear seats of my 33 recently. Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy.
Is the damper change an easy job?
Recommendations for dampers? I don't want to go sporty, just comfortable. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

Hi there, I can't speak too much for then16v 33 but the usual 33/sprint recommendation is for yellow adjustable konis. I've got them on my late sprint set to 0.8 turns from softest and the are excellent - don't be tempted to go too hard on a 33/sprint, as it's undriveable. Don't see why it would be different for the 16v
However, the are a couple of different views, which you're probably get in a little while _________________ Cheers,

Easy job Jeremy. Undo nuts on top of turret under carpet then raise the car allowing the axle to hang. Undo bottom bolt and take out damper and spring together. Hardest part is removing all the trim in the rear to pull the carpet back
Fitting is the reverse of above, just make sure you seat the springs properly.
I went for OE Boge jobbies but if I did it again I'd probably go for something a little firmer. |

A word of warning, when i did mine the nut that is at the bottom of the rear axle, facing down, holding the shock in place, broke.
I now always undo the nut and bolt that goes through the bottom of the shock, facing left to right. _________________ x2 33 16v
