Does anyone else have trouble using the oil dipstick with the sensor on it? On the IE the plastic lump on the end that holds the sensor seems to get caught on something and takes a lot of jiggling and pulling to get it free and then you can read it anyway.
Im worried that the plastic lump will break off and drop in the sump when I check the oil!
Has anyone got a standard one laying about that they could spare? Im assuming that it is connected to the "Alfacontrol" unit and I might have to short the wires out to keep it happy.
Regards,
Kev. |

The 16v dipstick has a smaller rubber seal if I remember correctly than the one you have, you might have to enlarge the seal if you get one. _________________ PHAT 33 |
