Looking at a new project, and what I am not using much, and came to the conclusion that I might sell the red 16v which I have owned for around 18 months.
I bought this from Alex (33 bits) early in 2013, and used it through last summer, including being down at NAD.
Alex had done a lot of tidying up, and the car has got a good looking respray in 130 Rosso.
Since owning it, I have done the following:
- Repaired both sills and the OS rear corner at the front lower edge of the rear arch (patches welded, sill filled with waxoyl, paint and protection, and skirt re-attached with correct fixings)
- Repaired rear valance (seam was missing so patched, waxoyled, painted and protected and bumper remounted
- Re-bushed the front suspension with polybushes
- Repaired the corrosion in the front suspension arms
- New front wheel bearings
- Vauxhall Vectra front calipers and larger front disks
- braided brake hoses all round
- Late European 33 rear disks, calipers, handbrake fittings
- Alfa 75 V6 master cylinder
- Drivers Recaro seat fabric repaired
- Nardi steering wheel and new nardi gear shift (per P4 spec)
- 15inch black multispoke wheels
It is a beautiful car to drive. Handles well, engine is a little gem, bodywork is good (slight blemish at the bottom of one door, and a very small suspect patch above the fuel filler). Interior is immaculate with the seat repair. Nothing missing or broken. Seats are alcantara/vinyl recaros.
If I sell the car it will have 12 months MOT.
I can post pictures, but it is a rosso 16v with a cloverleaf rear spoiler. It probably warrants a viewing if interested.
Price wise, not sure. Prices are still a bit up and down. I paid quite a lot for it, and with the repairs, other bits and pieces, and MOT would hope for quite a lot, but what is quite a lot in 33 terms? Somewhere around 2k?
Just want to see if there is any interest, as I have no plans to use it this year and would like the space for another little project.
Any interest out there? _________________ Drivers:

Was it the vinyl you had repaired on the Recaro. If so I think Adam the new owner of my car would be interested to find out where you had it done or where your trimmer go the right vinyl. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

Yes, it was the vinyl.
Trimmer closed shop for a while as business was a bit down, but I had to by 2m of it as a minimum amount and he gave me what he didn't need. I should be able to find it and give some details of the exact type it is.
It is a very very good match!!
Bear with me and I will look it out over the weekend. _________________ Drivers:
