hi folks,

ah, it's great to get back behind the wheel of a boxer-engined alfa after a two year break...

now, having just acquired a 1993 33 1.7IE, cheaply, with no service history, i have, so far -

- replaced cam belts;
- replaced all filters (air, oil, fuel);
- replaced spark plugs (NGK - are they OK, or should i really use Golden Lodges)
- changed oil;
- replaced both front struts;
- replaced front brake disks, pads;
- replaced radiator;
- filled with fresh coolant.

phew! anyway, having done all this, the engine still remains rather lumpy and hesitant, particularly when cold. might the injectors need cleaning, or are there any other areas i need to examine?

also, and i know that this will depend to a large extent on the manner in which the car has been driven to date, what might one expect out of a clutch in terms of life? my car has done 71,000 miles...

thanks to all of you - hope i haven't rambled on too much!
