No one wants to reply to my last msg, so I will ask another question
Does anyone here have experience with aftermarket re-ground cams, e.g. Piper or Kent rally cams for the 8valve boxer?

Hi
My only experience with cams was on a 1.5 which was as lumpy as hell. We found out this was becuase it had Holbay cams in it (they were in the engine when I bought it to replace a blown 1.3)
When running nicely it went very well, certainly picking up its skirts and flying as the revs went up
Sorry I cannot give you any more details though
All the best
