The factory limiter cuts in at 6800.
I never actually touched the rev limiter in mine - mainly because I was too scared of blowing it up (I had no idea how old the cambelts were and never got round to changing them) - so I never saw the rev limiter work. _________________ Hugh B

Why the hell some say its 6800 , others say 7000 , and others say 7200 ?
Is it there on the 16v owner manual ?
There's even a Portuguese mag that says 6750....
Which is it after all ? _________________ Carpe diem!!

If you get a Squadra superchip the rev limit is increased to 7300, apparently _________________ Hugh B

Hi...
My 16v cuts at 7200Rpm...
I had some trouble with rev counters, im going on my 3rd...One even indicated the cut at 4500Rpm.
The original item indicated 7200 then started failing indicating no revs at all...
The 2nd one started fine, until it started to indicate less revs (cut at 4500 )
Its my belive that all 16v (no Cat) cut at 7000/7200 Rpm-Not Before that-If they cut before, maybe you ´ll have some trouble-Can even be the rev counter....

Well mine is a non-cat version 16v QV and it cuts at 6750-6800rpm....
Like Tino says, I beliece anything above that is tuned... or maybe the revcounter has gone wacko
all the best
