Hi guys / girls,
Recently I was at the Spettacolo Sportivo Alfa Romeo at Zandvoort for the day out with my bro and a couple of mates from England. It was great fun, enhanced by great weather. The old 1.3 IE L (which I still have) was a real hoot to blast around the track. In fact (sneers aside about it being inly a 1.3 ) I left many cars in the dust. A 164 3.0 V6 spent 2 laps trying to keep up with me... afterwards in the pits the 164 driver couldn't believe that the 33 was being hauled around by its original 1.3!!! That's actually believable, seeing that I also drive a 164 Super - in a straightline it's quicker than the 33, but around the bends its hampered by bodyroll and it's higher profile Conti's. Ok - so maybe it was all about the handling / driver, but the old 33 still remains one of the better FWD cars on the track.
PS - I have never seen stickier / molten Michelin Exalto's than what I came back into the pits with!
Great fun - enjoy the pics.

Man, that is the most beautiful 33 I have ever seen - are those 155 wheels? Did they fit on easily? I want to put some 155 v6 wheels onto my car.
Thanks

They just bolted straight on, although the difference in the hub diamater is .5 mm smaller on the 155. It was a tight squeeze, but it can be done without any mods.
Some various pics below - some of the wheels before the car was lowered.
Cheers
