Hmmm.... those tasks aren't linear though.
i.e. one could be 'polish the bonnet'
Another could be 'replace the engine and gearbox with new clutch into the engine bay'

Yep, 4 days sounds about right
Doing my gearbox swap, and i think that'll be about four days all in. Last Sunday spent 3/4 day getting lump/s ready to drop -exhaust, bumper, rad off, dshafts disconnect etc etc. This Sunday rainned off so spent 1/4 day cleanning 'new' box-still looks grubby!
BTW read your site and one of the best tips i've ever come across is the envelopes for bolts one- brilliant. I used to pile things up on a large tray, which would lead to confusion on reassembly, or nervous breakdown if tray knocked over!
My tip is to coppaslip all bolts. So far everything has come apart nice and easy, even with some parts not being touched for over 6 years.

Yeah... the envelope is a modification of my first attempt at sorting the parts as they were dismantled.
My first attempt involved freezer bags.. and a rather useful WHITEBOARD marker.
Totally agree with the copper grease idea though... how easy our lives would be if Alfa had put the water pumps on with it.

John,
Did you ever get to the bottom of the 'leaking Lancia Delta' thing?
Obviously some trick there!
