Does anyone know if it is possible to get decent quality lowering springs for the late 33 16 valves which have the new style front shocks with three bolt fixings at the top?? I'd like to lower my M reg 16 valve by about 20 to 30mm, just to tighten up the handling.

hi paul i live on welsh border i have a circuit racing alfa/33 i am changing suspension springs are to hard and low they are full race spec and lower car 30 mm i have front and rear i dont know wether they will fit later type 33 16v if they do they will be for sale for £100 for the 4 front and rear they are like new . they are only being changed because the car is now going to be rallied instead of auto italia racing hope this can help the car handles superb on tarmac with these regards simon |

Hi simon. Does your car have the three or four bolt front struts? If it is four then the springs won't fit. Let me know. Cheers Paul.
