Weighed the floats 16 and 14 grams ..Shit One float, the plastic had broken down and become porous. i suspect speed up recently by me adding
carb/fuel injector cleaner to fuel tank. A warning to other carbed 33 owners.
You may want to check your floats if the car is getting on.

Yeah, my carbed 33 seemed to run worse after I added some carb/fuel injector cleaner to my petrol too. I figured it was debris loosened from somewhere getting stuck in the system and causing trouble.

I had the floats in my carbs changed by Italian Auto Centre (http://www.iac.co.nz/ is NOT their website.. *lol*)
I think they were lucky and managed to source the floats quite easily, but I remember getting the impression that the floats were becoming harder to get.
