Hi,

Any ideas on what the pressure of the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator should be? It feels like there is almost no vaccum at idle.

I am guessing that the low vaccum is the likely cause of the car running very rich (car will not run at all after 1/2 hour due to fouling of plugs).

The cylinder compressions are OK and there don't appear to be any leaks from the vaccum lines.

Any ideas?

Robert.

Does your car have a lambda probe? Faulty probe will also cause the car to run rich.

Hi Marcin,

Thanks for the reply. Not sure if the car has a lambda probe or not. Where should I look?

I have checked the injection fault codes and there are no errors.

Regards,

Robert

If you have a cat convertor and use unleaded fuel you must have a lambda probe.Or look under the car if a cable is connected to the exhaust.Hope i helped!!
