Hi guys,
I am thinking about giving the contacts in the AFM a clean, i have not done it before - is it simply a case of cutting the silicon and levering thetop off and then re-siliconing after a clean? |

I think it's not so critical - if you use silicon, there should be no problem.
Have you already exchanged the temperature sensor? |

not yet, I am doing it on Saturday. the part no. (for my 1994 16v) is 5972332 (it's a FIAT part no. but sounds like the right part from a verbal description over the telephone) in case you are interested. It will cost me about £20. I'll let you know how it goes |

Thanks.
I simply used a knife for cutting the silicon around and then a screwdriver for levering the top. It is not difficult. |
