Anyone got the above? New or used.
If it's a used part, I'd like it NOISELESS (i.e. no loud buzzing or rattling) as that's the very reason for getting a new one. My current one is driving me nuts.
Please reply here or PM me. Thanks. _________________ Hugh B

I have a spare fuel pump if you are still looking.
In my experience the pump usually starts to "whine" when the fuel FILTER is blocked up with rust from the fuel tank and the pump has to overcome the blockage. I would suggest a replacement filter before getting a face full of rust whilst changing the pump! However, if you still need a spare then give me a call.

Thanks. It's due for service next week so I'll get them to check the filter. I might just get in touch with you if they don't find anything wrong with it. _________________ Hugh B

Hi
The fuel pump is a fairly standard Bosch part. Although the eletrical connections might be different you should be able to use a pump from most Bosch injected cars, such as most Vauxhalls.
All the best
