Well, an incident involving my wife, the 33, and a large bank has resulted in a twisted 33 Crying or Very sad

Maybe I can make a 1.7ie AlfaSud with the engine and my series 3 Sud Ti?

Anyone done this before?

Unlucky mate.

I did it when i was 22 in my F reg 1.7 cloverleaf,i had only had it for 2 months and it was a lovely car in champane.Worst of all it was a total loss because it was third party only.It cost me £1100.

My brother had prepaired it for me using a donor engine from a sprint of the same age, that had only done 52,000 miles. The accident had smashed the front in which had broken the cam belt cover then snapped the cam belt.I was so dissappointed as i had been waiting moths for that car, pestering my brother.

I hope you gave your wife a smacked bottom afterwards! Wink

Sorry to sound like a grave rober, but I need a little bit of your 33. There is a throttle position sensor on the side of the injection throttle body, held on with two little screws, and has a three pin connector going to it. I need one of these to knock up an injection system made from carb bodies. Any chance?

By the way, I normally log in as lesthegringo, but my blasted login code doesn't function! (Scott, are you listening?????)

You must have had a dodgey 33 as the 146 1.7 16v I have driven was slow compared to a 1.7 16v 33. Loads of extra weight.

I test-drove an s3 33 1.7ie that the owner was selling because she'd upgraded to a 146 boxer. She was complaining that the 146 was slower.

When my 33 rusts away or cracks in half, if I'm nuts enough to buy another Alfa I'd go for either a 146 or 155. But from what I hear, anything bar the gruntiest 146 would be too slow. And the gruntiest 146s don't have boxer engines.
What you need is this:

(female an optional extra)

Nothing dodgy about H916HBW - a good 8v car that I regretted selling because, after getting bored with a lancia, I bought a 16v and had to do loadsa work on it.

I then got a Tipo sedicivalvole but found it hurt my back - anyone want to buy one?
