Hi,

Has any of you guys tried the Sachs shocks? I plan to replace all four shocks (BOGE originally equipped from factory).

The representative of Sachs told me that it is the same with the BOGE brand, same factory, only packaging differs.
Also said that the car will not have different handling- it would be the same as BOGEs were when the car was new. The new Sachs shocks are more well produced with better material and the shocks are more proof to wear.
I do not want to alter the characteristics of the suspension (not harder or softer than designed).

All these at the price of 290€ compared to the BOGEs which cost 392€

Any help will be appreciated,

Hi

I have sachs gasdampers, they work well in 33. Some may feel they are alittle soft, but in my opinion they work just fine. Other possibility is to buy koni and build them, so do not throw away the original Boges just in case you need the tubes.

Rear I have AVO adjustable to balance the car.

I have the Sachs in -35 config, going to put them in my project car..
