I've just bought a lovely 33 (Black 1.7 16v) and I want to get it serviced, plus there are a host of little repairs that need doing on it. I live in Sheffield and the closest Alfa specialist I've found is Peak Alfa in Derbyshire. Are there any others around here, and has anyone used Peak Alfa? |

Hi
I have used Peak Alfa (Roger Evans) once and he was okay, but I called in on spec last week and it was all closed up - probably just for the day tho'
He did okay work on my 75 a couple of years back, about £25 per hour.
Not much to do in the area while waiting though - other than going for a walk of course!
Not sure about Sheffield itself - further afield you could try Trentside Classics in Burringham near Scunthorpe, but that is a bit of a trek (albeit one worth making) - Mal Nicholson on 01724 783506. I don't think I'd bother with Autoworld!
Good luck and let me know if you find someone?

Thanks, James. I wouldn't touch Autoworld with a barge pole slathered in disinfectant. I've just had a look at the Trentside Classics website and it looks very promising. They do bodywork stuff too, which is handy because there's some damage to both front doors and locks where it looks like some little scrote has tried to break in with a screwdriver.
