Now you know what to do to make your Alfa go faster - buy some Jap engine internals, have the motor board out to 2 litres and add some greedy ht leads! |

I'm glad to see the "spakers are upgraded as well"
If you look at the receipt - the "speedometer now reeds 000014 miles", and did they test maximum speed of 149.7mph - the rolling road? _________________ (00=\°/=00) (00=\°/=00)

I wish my car could produce 193.2 bhp at 400 rp.......
This guy must be haveing a laugh, if you look at the engine, it doesn't even look clean, let alone modified.
The rest of the car is 'stuck on' bling, with a nasty steering wheel. I think he has mistaken the horn pushes for NOx switch. Speakers (or spakers I think) are badly fitted in the boot, which has mullered the parcel shelf to destruction. As for the receipts, I managed to make an exact duplicate in 3 minutes in word97 (the shop was quiet, I was bored...), so hardly very official.
This guy knows nothing about the car he is trying to sell, but he will find a buyer, who is equally dim. I think we have found nominees for the Darwin awards.... _________________ Regards

I suggest you guys do some reading on the bx/mi16 engine.
That engine will produce more power per litre modifed than the 16v alfa lump.
193bhp from a standard 160?
thats only a 33 bhp gain.
Which is a reasonable assumption from the mods done. |

160bhp in a BX is scary enough let alone 190+ if Fraudulent Freddy's figures are to be believed. The body roll you get is a serious brown trouser inducing event in the standard BX flavours the only difference in the 160bhp gti's is a smaller hydropneumatic suspension sphere (400cc instead of 500cc) and splined ends on the slightly thicker anti roll bar. Not my idea of fun!! |
