|
Hi all.
I was wondering if anybody has build coilover suspention on their 33/Sud/Sprint?Or adjustible camber angel?
I am curious becouse I am going to build a Sprint up for a serie called Clubrace here in Denmark.
I know some of the excisting drivers here have done theese things, and I will later on have a look on how they have got around it,but any good ideas would be very welcome

Hi,
There is a guy in Sydney who races a sud with coil over springs that you are talking about. Looks like he uses a modified strut and smaller coil winding diameter. He can then use an adjustable strut top mount.
I guess if you are wanting to do this your best bet would be to speak to a suspension place that does this for other makes of car. _________________ Scott Sander

Okay, thanks for that.No easy solutions here (Imean something to bye).I will build my own front struts, and see how to get around it in the back.
But what have you guys who (sometimes) drives on tracks mounted as suspention then?Yellow Koni's and Eibach springs I know of,anything else useful?

Hi Thomas,
Have you checked this website, they sell coil overs for 33/sud struts.
They even sell replacement fabricated lower arms for the 33 front suspension. Rose and spherical jointed, and all adjustable

Get the catalogue from www.Demon-Tweeks.com
They are listing (or at least they used to) a building kit for a coil-over kit.
The mounting top in alu with rose-jointed top. And they also used to list a kick-rack kit for the Alfa 33.
Good luck.
