My car's clock works whenever wants to....The backlight works perfectly. i opened it cimpletely, "washed it" with contact spray but still the same. It must have to do with the earthing or sth because when it works it looses the time settings...Any advices??? |

The easiest way to trace the problem further might be to plug in another known good clock.. If the new good clock behaves the same way then you know the problem isn't in the old clock.
In that case there might be something wrong in the plug connectors, or even further back into the wiring loom.
At the moment you don't know whether your clock itself is faulty or whether the problem is in the car's wiring. |

As u can realise its the most difficult solution....Since the cables go through the top of the car does anybody know where is the grounding and the positive cable of the clock so i can check this first?? |
