Hi... Very Happy
Reading an BMW magazine, i came across with an article, were a guy in an M3 (e30) replaced the original intake system by a carbon airbox, thus removing the AFM (very similar to the one used on 16v). To do this, he used an piggy box called "Alpha N".
As anyone heard of this??
Removing the AFM, will make the 16v breath a lot better. Cool
I´ve searched the web and didn´t found anything. Also on the same magazine, they give some tuning tips to onwers of 6 series, and state that replacing the AFM by an MAF sensor would free up till 15 hp Exclamation...
But they forget to give the "HOW TO"...
This certainly, would be great to 16 valvers.
Anyone can give some light on this subject??
Thanks in advance

AHHHH Shocked

By the way, these systems aparently are non related... Question Question
The "Alpha N" seems to use only the TPS and crank sensor to determinate the fueling... Exclamation
The MAF conversion, will certainly take air flow into acount.... Confused

All the best
