I've just removed the idle control valve from a 16v boxer 145 and as I did so a small round bit of rubber fell to the ground. Looking at the end of the unit that connects to the induction system, there is a large rubber gasket - is this supposed to have a largish hole in it? I think the bit of rubber that fell off came from here. What should this unit look like at that end?
Thanks |

Don't know about 145.
On 33 16v rubber goes on that end of idle control valve.
You could put it on air intake and then try to fit in idle valve, but 1st is easier. _________________ Tino Vatavuk

thanks Tino
What I was trying to establish was whether the unit I have is damaged - should the rubber bit (that attaches to the intake system) have a hole in the end or not? i think the rubber bit that fell off came from here. |
