Sorry,

i haven't found a Sprint screen, just wanted to know if the part was the same. You'd think that a car manufactured up to 1988 in Australia would have some supply of windscreens. It's more fun for me as the Sud was discontinued in 1984...

What a pain indeed, our cars must be a major headache for the insurance companies.

My solution might come from buying a wreck and salvaging the screen. i have also seen cheap sprints floating around on the carsale sites.

problem is i can't bear to throw away a good shell after only salvaging a windscreen Sad But who wants to buy a shell these days?

What a rant!

Good luck with your hunting

Cheers

Hi,

Indeed , James Bond needed a stronger car in order to escape from police... BMW police cars could not cope with the GTV6 engine ... Cool

After all the world was on James Bond's hands ... and a the proper car was essential Very Happy

Regards,

well if you do end up buying a secondhand sprint let me know -ill buy some bits off you! if you have the space i rekon you would at least make your money back buy selling parts on ebay. whatever pops up usually gets snapped up quick.... its stupid really isnt it - what was once a (somewhat expensive) car is now worth nothing. yet people still want to charge an arm and a leg for parts> Rolling Eyes

my sprint should be worth around 8 or 9 grand but ill probly only get 5 if im lucky Mad
