Hi i have just bought my first 33 16v and it is a non-runner
I have been thro the manuals and i think the timing is wrong... Confused

If the timing is correct at TDC should the "T"`s line up on both sides of engine or just one then the other on the next crank rotation ???

and how do they count 2,3, and 4 cyl? im very confused by this flat 4 manual... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

help please ...

The firing order of the distributor, i suppose it's the same for both 8v and 16v, is 1-3-2-4. Now for each cylinder, i think -and correct me if i 'm wrong- that as you look the car from the front side No 1 cyl is the first on the left side, No 2 the first on the left side, No 3 the second on the left side and No 4 the second on the right side. Like that:
3 - 4
1 - 2
