Hi...
It depends on what 16v you own...
If it is a non cat version it goes with Golden Lodge 25 HL
If it has a cat, the owners manual, states Bosch (Cant remember the type)
and NGK PFR6B.
My car is a non cat version, but i use NGK`s, because they last longer, give the car more throttle response, and finally, because they last longer, i have to change them less times, and this type of work on this cars is a real pain...
Best regards

I have always had NGK PFR6Bs in mine (213k kms on the clock now) and they have lasted over 100k kms per set both times so they are the ones I recommend. Some people say other platinum or iridium plugs will work just as well but since I nkow NGKs are good I stick to them.

PS. The 164 QV 24V also uses the same plug and only needs changing at 100k kms as well. Good thinking from Alfa to specify good plugs for the 33 16V and V6 24V since the plugs on the rear bank of the V6 are a pain to change, just like on the 33 16V. _________________ 1990 33 16V QV

I've replaced thousands of plugs on many cars and found that no matter what the vehicle is, NGK are the best for reliability and performance. I won't use anything else now because I got fed-up of replacing "new" plugs that where faulty. |
