i exploring the engibe bay today and decided to take the airbox out of my 8v twin carb. i took the car for a little drive and it sounds amazing!!! its a much lower grunt than normal and i love it...cant bring myself to put the airbox back on. so i mite try get two pod filters to put on the intakes, think this will muffle the sound?

It will muffle the sound a bit but if you don't filter the air your engine won't last that long.
The performance will DECREASE with pod filters since the original design of the air intake is best. |

Twin K&Ns on my sprint and the induction noise is LOUD!
I thought about putting on the original airbox. Decided against it - ive paid the additional insurance already and the k&ns are the only shiny thing under the bonnet. _________________ Alfa Sprint QV - Gone to a better home and in happier health for it

I took off the extra air intakes I made for the standard air box, and the factory plastic pipe with the hot air valve etc because I love the noise. I don't care if it's not optimal, the sound effects make up for that! |
