Hello dear Alfistas and I wish you all have a great holiday...
It is a bit of time since my right hand side brake pad is going squeeky under light-medium braking.
Is there something wrong with it ??? Is there something I can do to sort it out ???
Merry Xmas everyone and lots of happy and trouble free Alfa Romeo kilometers... _________________ 1994 Alfa 33 1.5 IE Cat. 220.000Kms and still going strong!!! (Από την Αθήνα και τώρα στην Λευκωσία) |

Hi,
If the pads are in good condition and don't need replacing, you could try removing them, and putting coppaslip gease on the backs of the pads. this helps eliminate the vibration which often causes brake squeal.
If you're going to the trouble, it's probably worth a new set of pads with the coppaslip on.

You should remove the pads and check for uneven wear. If there is, you can file down part of the pad to shut it up for a while. Probably best getting new pads as DA DR suggests.
