A friend of mine is on with building a race engine for me, the class cc limit is 1420 and I have been running a 1350 boxer engine. I have a 1186cc engine and a 1700cc engine and was hoping to use the 1186 crank with the 1700 pistons to give me 1402cc. Can anyone tell me are the rods a diiferent lenght and also can the 1186cc block be bored out to 87mm. If we deck the block how much can be taken off.
I also have a crank which I am not sure what size engine it came out of are there any casting marks etc on the crank to tell me all I can find is XC and H.
