Okay, it's at Boughton House again this year, 3 miles north of Kettering in Northamptonshire. Postcode NN14 JBJ. There will be model register parking (contact Dave if you want a place) and there will be a marquee for children. Dave and I will be running a parts stall at the far end (kind of everything a fiver?). Gates open at 10 and entrance is 7 quid for adults, 3 quid for children. I recommend that you enter your car for the Concours d'Elegance best kept Alfa, Bobbber, now, I hope, you've put in those rubber door surrounds. Be good to see you there and anyone else from this site. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

I'm sure you'd be very welcome. We had that single seater mini-F1 car at Boughton House last year which got alot of attention and seemed very odd on the main roads. (Got some photos, but can't work out how to post them here). Dave Peters will be organising parking, but as of yet nothing's been heard from base, though we have been promised register parking this time. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Was there last year in my white P4 which got parked in the model display area, think Paul introduced himself to me there too (hello Paul!) but won't be there this year as everything seems to be happening on the 18th June
Not happy. |

If anyone is coming along to National Alfa Day and wants any parts, please let me (and Dave) know what parts it might be useful to bring. Off to Brands Hatch tonight, though not sure about weather forecast. Would take P4, but 4WD playing up. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Just a quick note to say it was a cracking day Sunday @ NAD!
Thanks to Dave & Paul for their help and sophisticated chit-chat... I wish I'd have taken a picture of Paul in that skip! And thanks for my parts and door seal which came with a very large unexpected frame!
Once again - people were commenting on how my 33 looked like it had just come from the factory which is always nice to hear.
Anyway - I made a 155 eat exhaust fumes on my way home on the A16 - so overall a happy Bob.

Dang Keith - I should have grabbed ya and said hi!
That 33 racecar was mint - I liked the concept of the high and low injectors, even if I didn't quite understand why!

Hi
Shower type injectors are quire common on large cylindered bikes for track use (eg Ducatis). Less important on the 4s as each injector needs to flow less fuel.
Larger flow injectors tend not to have such a good spray pattern, so multiple small injectors are better. Also conventionally positioned injectors will tend to spray fuel onto the opposite wall of the inlets (which will be more of a problem at low revs).
All the best
