Sometimes after reading this forum posts I wonder if 33 had droped word at end, because of luck of space on rear bonnet. It was probably called 33 S 16v Permanent 4 problems.

Hi,

Bob, I would consider everything fixable having time, money and personal skills which I think you have.

What I would like to highlight is the body section of problems; I would consider fighting rust as number one priority. Any car having rust on it suffers and the quicker rust is attacked, the more difficult will it appear again.

It is better to have the car with electrical problems or tatty interior rather that rust working on the background.

Good luck with the restoration,

Are you sure you couldn't find a better 33, and use your current one as spare parts before dumping it? Wink
It must be very annoying that the electric windows don't go.

On my car, I unscrewed the interior light sensors on the doors and cleaned them, now they work most of the time.

Well Gritsop - I have the skills and money - just NO TIME!!! Laughing

I just thought it would be a good exercise to list all the problems. Sometimes it's easy to ignore them as a 'set of jobs' due to the total size. I needed to break it down to one thing at a time. I feel i've done this with the list.

I've now put them into order of priority which surely helps - yes rusty bits are first on the list, especially now that the evening are getting lighter and nice weather is on it's way Wink

I'll get there!

Bob
