Any other info? Racing clutch? power/torque rating? Fits which models - 16V?

Fellow of mine had that OMP clutch installed in his 33.
1. man it was though to push.
2. It would be sliping first 10 min until it warmed up enough to clutch
Something similar to race brake pads, you need to warm them up. _________________ Tino Vatavuk

Its a PBR manufactured clutch. It came with my motor, was told it is good if your planning to rev to extreem RPM to avoid burning the fly wheel, particuarly if its lightened / machined, and for fast changes. So yes, a race motor would best utilise this. The motor it came with is a 1.5 8v, sure it fits the 1.7 8v but dont know about the 16v.??
Any one got or know where to get an uprated thrust bearing in Oz, otherwise I suppose AHM in the UK have them??/
Thanks for the replies, sounds like it would be a pain in the be$#%ind to drive every day for street use. Maybe it would add a little wheel spin on changes too as well as being tough to push.??
Any one know how long these things last on the track? _________________ Too Many!! 33 QV 1.5 1986 (day driver, Sud 1.5 82 (toy) and Sud Ti Qv 84 (on hold), 1988 1.7 carbie too (wobly). |

Badly writen, I didn't mean it was OMP. Here is link to OMP racing clutches,
http://www.ompracing.it/prodotti.html?categorycode=GFRIZIONI&changelanguage=en
Diference can be seen.
Anyway it doesn't mean yours will be pain to drive in everyday use like OMP was:
- if nothing Oz is warmer then Croatia and now I think that 10min I previously stated is a bit to high.
- I don't know if yours plate leafs are tougher then compared to original or OMP one
If you find uprated thrust bearing and price for changing clutch isn't to much down there why not try it.
p.s. I dont know how thrust bearing fork would cope with it, since they are known for failures on usual 33 but then again who has still original pin holding it? _________________ Tino Vatavuk
