If you talk about one on slave clutch cylinder, then pliars holding it should be as much to the block on the left as you can. It would be around 10-11 o clock on watch _________________ Tino Vatavuk

See post "clutch service" just a couple beneath here. Put circlip in place first before pushing slave cylinder through. May need a few goes. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

I really feel for you. I remember the first time it took me about an hour with me swearing at it. Now it takes just a few goes once everything is in place. Use a lever in the lip at the base of the oil filler tube and with its middle against the face of the slave cylinder near the bleed nipple so that you can easily move the slave cylinder in and out till you get success. I always keep the holes on the circlip pointing vertically up, but others may disagree. Good luck. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Damn. Thanks everyone. It tookl 5 mins actually including bleeding. I was trying to put the circlip in after pushing the pump in and get it supported. Could get a view from behind otherwise would've save lots of time. Thanks folks. _________________ Each time I speed I say, "Dear lord, make me fast and accurate..." |
