|

Hi...
Hoping someone can help me save a lot of time with a few hints.
My sud has just passed road worthy... everything good after a few months of casual restoration...
Noww....
When I press the brake...... my headlights come on... I think high beam from memory.... I guess "bad earth" or short... but am hoping someone might have experience here????
ALso... this one seems obvious.... I have water flicking off my alternator belt. Guess this is a leaking water pump???
Everything was fine a week ago....
help appreciated,...... RIch |

Didn't you know that this is a standard feature on Suds? (an option on 33s!)
I would begin by checking the wiring at the brake pedal, relative to the wiring for the lights. Since the light wires come down the steering column to and from the switch, and the brake light wires are in the same area, it is possible they are all being shorted at the pedal assembly.
Water? Could be pump but check top radiator hose. Apressure test would reveal all though. _________________ Chris Notsis |
