Hi all! I have been offerad a 16v 33. Cambelts have snapped Crying or Very sad ,what sort of damage could this have caused to the engine. Rolling Eyes

hummmm
i bought one like that - i couldnt find anything wrong ,which is worse than finding something because i had the engine out and took off the heads and now i`m not sure if the engine is going to be ok when i put it back in.

usually you get a bent valve or 2 or 3 or 4 but in my case i have been told by a ferrari engine builder (he works for prodrive) that if the valves arent bent it can be knackered followers instead.
