A possible and surprise house move has reared it's head, and I will have to reduce the fleet if it happens. Having nurtured my 155 Sportpack for 3 years I am reluctant to sell that, so unfortunately the 4x4 is next to go.
This is one of only 3 on the road out of 6 left on DVLA records. I have just mot'd and taxed it for 6 months and it is in daily use. The mot only required 2 patches on the n/s door steps and a CV boot. The tester remarked on how amazingly good and unmolested the car was. The patches were properly let-in and blended but require a coat of red and lacquer to finish.
The only other bodywork of note is as follows:
OSR arch small blister (2") at rear.
NSF wing small blister behind mudflap
Small dink in osr door
Small scratch osr door/wing
Small scratch osf wing behind headlight.
Crack in back bumper apron
NO plating or rust under bonnet/flitch/inner wings, or boot. Inner sills and floorpan A1.
COMPLETELY ORIGINAL CAR including Sharp radio cassette, good history (book and receipts). Original dealer number plates, rear screen sticker, and a salvageable tax disc holder.
Recommended maintenance (by mot tester) to scrub and protect undercar pipework. Not advisory items but sensible to do.
Electrically a few niggles - speedo/odo u/s, courtesy light switches need cleaning, wipers can be slow if too dry, hrw suspect, clock u/s.
Interior quite amazing, two small blemishes in drivers seat base (fags!!) although seemingly a smoke free car.
Tracking out and due to nature of job it's on the to do list, I have a printout of what needs doing - n/s toeing out, o/s toeing in.
Original mudflaps, 13" wheels.
Frontpipe had a pinprick hole so that was migged up.
Genuinely rare, unmodified, unrestored car that is capable of daily use instantly.
All the above is not exhaustive as it's a 21 year old Alfa and I'm still getting to know it!!
Ownership - Black and White Garage demonstrator 1986>1987, ONE OWNER from 1987>2005, 3rd (a colleague of mine) 2005>2007 then me.
I most probably will be taking the car to SAD next month.

Be really good to see that at SAD!
Someone will want this - as it's rare and looks pretty ok.

I took the car to SAD, got there late and had to leave early, parked about 6 rows from the front, did anyone get to see t?
Car now properly on sale as house move 'moving' and my beloved 155 is back on the road.
33 has a few decent spares in the boot too.
Looking for offers over £600 - don't forget it's got stack of history, taxed end sept, mot'd feb 2008, only 3 previous owners.
Did get a few admiring glances at SAD, but due to work I had to leave at 2.30. _________________ 33 4x4 Giardinetta, 155 Sportpack 2.0 16v, breaking sportwagon 1.7, shed filling up fast.......... |

Definitely on sale now, moving in June so must go by then or I will organise a lock-up for it. Cracking condition and for a little work a real show-stealer. Instantly useable classic car and you'll probably not see another for years!!
My 155 is now back on the road and the 33 is dormant - I got a few admirers on it at SAD so you too could have something for the coming season!! _________________ 33 4x4 Giardinetta, 155 Sportpack 2.0 16v, breaking sportwagon 1.7, shed filling up fast.......... |

Yes I would have to agree with Widebody that I am a satified customer. I am working on sorting the odd minor gremlin that he identified while at the same time trying to get my Series 1 its first MOT in a number of years. What has not helped is my Rangie V8 LPG after having all its brakes and suspension sorted for the MOT decided to blow up in Okehampton. Luckily I have a spare low mileage V8 engine which is now partially in and taking priority at the moment. The joys of early retirement.
Heres hoping that "cruising" in a 155 V6 is all it is cracked up to be _________________ 1993 Range Rover 300 Tdi |
