I have always wanted to own an Alfa and have just bought a 1985 Alfa 33 1.5. Its bodywork in the most part is excellent having had a professional restoration in the mid 90s. However the tailgate is rusted through all around the window rubber and in my opinion appears beyond repair. 
If anyone can offer me a replacement in either good or repairable condition in any colour I would be delighted to negotiate a sensible deal with you. Many thanks

You could try alfaaid in windsor, www.alfaaid.co.uk (i think). They used to keep loas of panels. s1 and s2 stuff may have been skipped by now, but worth a try.

Thanks for your response John but unfortunately this site appears to be non Alfa related but I remain positive that somewhere and somehow, I will track down the equivalent of the Holy Grail.

My thanks to everyone for their response. Unfortunately a heart attack has had me sidelined for a few weeks and no progress has been made with the Alfa to date but I am looking forward to getting to work on it soon. Incidentally I now have a tailgate with thanks to Paul Hide who I had the pleasure of meeting recently.
Once again a big thank you to those who took the time to respond and apologies for my lack of courtesy in failing to respond until now.
