Ok, I've got the heads back on but I'm not sure on the timing. The workshop manual isn't very clear(or I'm a bit thick)

What I did,
line up the 'T' mark on the flywheel with cylinder 1 in it's fully compressed position, fitted heads, lined up the marks on the cams and put the belts on.

If any of this is wrong please someone let me know, I turned it over by hand and it didn't make any noises.

lined up the marks on the cam pulleys? if so that is correct 10/10

Thanks stedee,

Its a 1.5 so the marks are the end of the cams like in the second photo. I was pretty sure I had it right but now i'm certain.
The engine is back in the car now, all i need now is a new distributor and windscreen.
Then my first real drive in a real car Very Happy
