I have had my Series 2 33 for about 2 weeks, and am tidying up some items it needs.

After working under the dash to fix the heater and adjusting the handbrake, the speedo did not work the next morning.

I believe the Speedo is electric. Is this correct? If so were would I look for a connection I may have broken? Or is it just one of those gremlins that are part of the cars personality?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi

The 33 uses an electronic speedo. Think it is a 2 core shielded cable. Connects to the top of the gearbox.

All the best

There is also a connector under the bonnet between the brake master cylinder and the heater cover.
Also check the connector on back of speedo.
