I have heard several times about a modification that raises the ratio of first gear(?) in a 1200Ti box so that there isnt such a big hole going in to second. Some one once said they use a golf gear .
Does anyone have any details on the mod and any experience with it?

Hi
Not sure if you have seen this:-
http://www.alfa-pages.co.uk/?go_to=gear
Lists the gearbox ratios used in Suds and 33s. Might be something there to help.
All the best

Thanks for that.
I am sure though it wasnt a gear from an Alfa thats used. I didnt realise that the 4.1 : 1 diff was fitted to so many models.
Does anyone have any experience of the best combination of gear sets?
