Interesting... will we have to go round the track in the 20-seater 'stag wagon'
Good point Iain... takes a while for me to get my footage together actually. Like I haven't even posted SPA 2007 footage yet!

Still bitter about the windscreen then John Sorry dude!!
Update on mine: Took the engine out yesterday and stripped down the crankshaft. As Bob summised, It was cylinder number 4 that had gone and the bearing shell resembled a KitKat wrapper . It's off to be re-ground and re-shelled so she'll be back on the road in no time!! |

Your video-camera looks similar to mine Lee, and I needed to buy a 'firewire' card.
Although I ran the video into the PC in this way and twenty minutes of footage cost me about 30GB of disk space!!!!
The best way I've found is to get a standard DVD recorder (like the one for your telly) and connect it to the camcorder and just record the footage to the DVD. Then put the DVD into your computer and take the footage down with some DVD ripping software to MP4 format or similar.
I am just looking at some great video editing software - but as I'm probably the only person on here not using Microsoft Windows I'm guessing you won't be able to use it!
Good luck!
