GUYS
I thought I should warn you about TFL Epsom Ltd, formerly Auto Italia (also formerly Edwards of Epsom). I took my 16v sportwagon for a belt and oil change and sepcifically asked for the tensioners to be replaced. They only replaced ONE of them. Why on earth they didn't do both is beyond me. It emerges that when they took over 11 months ago (unbeknown to me) they lost their franchise status and all their FIAT/Alfa trained mechanics walked out over pay. so, BE WARNED

yours p*ssed off and £350 out of pocket

£350??? No way!!!

I was going to have the local Alfa garage replace the belts/tensioners on my new 16V... if this is the cost I'll be looking at, forget it. I'll do it myself.

i think he is refering to the fact that the tensioners failed and then caused 350 in damage. I hope i am not wrong, cos 350quid is alot. Sorry to heard about it Sad
