It probably isn't worth anything in money terms compared to what it's worth to you, so you might as well just keep it.

That's amusing, I was just about to contact you. Spoke to Alex Poulter last night and he knows someone who would like to buy it and asked me to ask you if you were still selling..... and how much...
He also asked if you still wanted that manifold, which I guess you don't? _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Well the spider ive always wanted.and when it does hit the road it will be abit of a toy.with a twinspark lump in it. the gtv is a sexy car and drives great, but is bloody slow that will be sold in the not to distant future aswell.the jetski is the nut's i love it.plus 56 mph on the water is bloody quick plus.no police, no camera's nuff said
i do love my 33,but when the spider is on the road ,then sadly its got to go _________________ WODA WE NEED? MORE POWER!!

Surely the best way around this is to give/lend one of your Alfas to your missus?

John......What's going on??
Been on holiday for a week and I've come home to this bad news
I would have said that she's worth around the grand mark mate as she's in great nick but in the end it's what someones prepared to pay......maybe more. You could try and sell as 'offers' to test the water.
What are you going to drive at Spa then?? or is this your way of telling us you're not going next year?! |

Hi lee
well next year if i go it would be nice if the spider was on the road.but i think ive got more chance of going to the moon
as for how much the 33's worth i was thinking along your lines.plus with all the parts ive got.
watching the GP today bought back memories of june.hamilton was only abit quicker than me today:lol: what do i do???

I would say, don't sell your 33
it won't eat bread or so, so just keep it
i don't know about england, but over here in Holland, almost nobody is prepared to pay a good price for a 33, there are just a few crazy people like me, who really like 33's.
so just keep it, en drive it whenever you feel like it, and enjoy it
I've tried modern alfa's, but never really liked them, they're to heavy and slow. but they sure look great.
anyway, i would sell the GTV before the 33 if i were you
at this moment my youngest alfa is a '91 series 3 33 16v, which i intend to break for spares, engine will get carbs on it, then into my '87 series 2 33
BTW, do you still want to sell your spare velocekit? _________________ currently owned:

He was only slightly quicker than you John because he didn't have to stop half way round to close his bonnet!!
Sell the GTV........have you checked out the new tax bands yet? I think you'll be paying £350 plus to put it on the road for a year! |

Hi guy's
Yeah i know it's a joke how much the tax is. ive got to tax the gtv next month.i do love the gtv.BUT it's so slow.but the 33 is a race car now.
plus ive still got the spider.which as you know will have twin spark lump and should be alot of fun.only abit heavier than the 33.with about 165-180ish BHP.
i need to win the lottery.
